How we handle reviews
On EchoVibe product pages you will see reviews from other people. Here we explain exactly where they come from and what we can and cannot check about them. No small print.
Where they come from
They have two different origins, and both appear mixed together in the same list:
- Reviews from EchoVibe customers. People who placed an order in this store and received, after delivery, an invitation to tell us how it went. They carry the «Verified» label.
- Reviews imported from the manufacturer. Opinions from people who bought this same product in the store of the manufacturer that supplies us. They are not our customers and they do not carry the «Verified» label.
What we check, and what we do not
For reviews from EchoVibe customers we can: each one is linked to a real order in this store, and that check is made automatically by the tool that manages the reviews, not by us by hand.
For the imported ones, we cannot. They are opinions published in the manufacturer's store and we have no way of verifying one by one that whoever wrote them really bought the product. That is why we never present them as opinions from EchoVibe customers, and why we tell you here and on the product page itself.
What we do not do
- We do not delete negative reviews. When we import the reviews for a product, we bring them across exactly as they are: if the product has bad opinions, you will see them.
- We do not write reviews, nor do we commission anyone to write them.
- We do not give discounts, gifts or points in exchange for leaving a review. The review coupon feature is switched off.
- We do not sort the reviews to hide the worst ones.
We only remove a review if it is abusive, if it does not talk about the product, if it contains someone's personal details, or if we have well-founded reasons to believe it is fake.
Who stores them
Reviews are managed with Judge.me, a specialised external service. When you leave one, your name and your opinion are published on the product page; your email is not.
Seen a review that does not add up?
Tell us through the contact page, naming the product and the review. We will look at it and, if appropriate, take it down.
