Earbuds get dirty exactly where no cloth reaches: the speaker grille, the seam of the shell and the charging bin inside the case. This pen puts three tools in one body, one for each of those places.
What it has
Round metal nib. Gets into the speaker grille and the seams, where no brush fits.
Plush brush. Soft, to sweep loose dust away without scratching the plastic.
Charging-port brush. The microfibre end, for the inside of the case and the contacts.
Why it matters
The grime that builds up over the speaker grille sits between the sound and your ear: that is why earbuds that sound muffled are often not broken, just dirty. And in the case, dust in the charging bin is what makes them fail to charge first time.
